Wedding Gift
This project was a wedding gift, which turned int a baby shower gift. I drew the couple and their fur babies for their wedding as a pen and marker drawing. A year later, they welcomed their baby into the world. I drew the drawing again with a couple additions and room for more. This time I drew it digitally and I found it much cleaner and the print had a really nice finish to it.
VI and Summer Sketches
These are a couple examples of my older drawings being brought to life again. I had created the black and white images in one of my daily drawing challenges from previous years. I used the Summer one as my inspiration for the cover of our summer issue of the NLPS ConnectED issue for 2024. I always like the idea of the little people doing summery activities on the ice cream cone and I felt it was a cute idea that kids and families could connect with. The Vancouver Island image was something I would make an awesome sticker so I decided to redraw it recently and I think it turned out really well!
